Mr. M. Sadek Ahmed Chowdhury is an eminent businessman based in Montreal, Canada. He began his entrepreneurial journey in 1989 by establishing his embroidery business, “International Embroidery” 3099- 5112 Quebec Inc. Over the years, the company has collaborated with globally renowned brands such as Nike, Adidas, the National Hockey League, and the National Football League, along with many other prestigious organizations and international events. The company earned a Nike Authorized Certificate from Ohio, USA, in recognition of its quality production, real-time delivery, and state-of-the-art operations.
He is the owner of “Bangla Square” 9226-9539 Quebec Inc. Multipurpose Commercial Market through which he is actively engaged in real estate ventures as well as Bangladeshi community-based sports initiatives in Montreal Canada. He is also closely associated with the “Bangla Square” in Montreal, reflecting his strong involvement in community-centered commercial development.
In addition, he operates “Resto Cabasyl” ( Business No : 71843 9698 RC0001, Corporation Number 1020176-6, Identification No : 122-472-3772,NEQ No : 11727 41184,TPS/GST : 71843 9698 RT 0001, TVQ / QST : 12247 23772 TQ 0001), an Indian restaurant and a Greek and Mediterranean cuisine business under the company “Resto Molyvos” 9445-1457 Quebec Inc. contributing to the multicultural business environment of Canada.
Furthermore, he is associated with Cabasyl Canada Inc., through which he is expanding business operations in Bangladesh by facilitating the import and distribution of international products. This initiative aims to strengthen trade connectivity between Canada and Bangladesh and introduce high-quality foreign products into the Bangladeshi market.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions and success as an entrepreneur, Mr. Sadek Chowdhury was honored with the Expatriate Honor Award in 2025 by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for his excellence as a successful entrepreneur and businessperson.
Beyond his business achievements, Mr. Sadek Chowdhury is widely recognized as a dedicated social activist. He is the founder president of “Bangladesh Canada association” where regularly organize Bangladeshi cultural platform “Bangla Mela Festival” in Montreal Canada, which annually attracts approximately 5,000 participants and showcases diverse Asian cultural activities. The core objective of this initiative is to unite the Southeast Asian community under one umbrella and promote the exchange of customs, values, and traditions—particularly among younger generations—thereby preserving a rich and harmonious cultural heritage.
Mr. Sadek Chowdhury is also the founder and co-owner of the Bangladeshi community-based weekly newspaper
‟Vhorer Alo”, which has been serving communities across Canada since 2012.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to humanitarian service, every year during the Christmas holiday season, “Resto Cabasyl” provides free meals to at least five hundred underprivileged individuals in Montreal Canada.
He is also the founder president of the “Bangladesh Funeral Association” a voluntary organization established in 2005, dedicated to supporting individuals in need with financial and essential assistance during times of hardship.
